Dolphins Blowout Titans in Dan Campbell's Debut!

Today was a good day to be a Dolphins fan. The Dolphins interim head coach Dan Campbell made his debut against the Titans today. To my surprise, the Dolphins won 38-10 in a dominate victory. I am extremely excited because it seemed like everybody played to their potential. Now the Dolphins are 2-3 coming off of their long bye week.

The Dolphins offense looked good from the start this week. Jarvis Landry had a good day, especially with the rushing touchdown on a genius play call. Jarvis Landry always plays good for the Dolphins so that is no surprise. I think that Landry will be a pro bowl wide receiver in his future. On of the things the new coach wanted to establish is a running game. They finally started giving running back Lamar Miller the ball, and he did not disappoint. He had nearly 100 yards and a touchdown in the first half. Lamar Miller might be able to have a good season just like he did last year. Rishard Mathews had a good game as well. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill looked pretty well too. He did have two interceptions, but one of them was no his fault. Jordan Cameron was the reason for on of these interceptions, but he made up for it with a late touchdown.

The defense looked spectacular in this game. I am going to start with the defensive line. The defensive looked like what they should have in the beginning of the season. The Dolphins had five sacks in just the first half of the game. One of those was from Vernon, who also might get fined because of a cheap hit he got on Titans rookie quarterback, Marcus Mariota. The other four sacks were from my favorite Dolphin's player, Cameron Wake. I was beginning to think that Cameron Wake was going to go for the single game sack record since he had four sacks and two forced fumbles in the first half. Suh did not do much, but he was double teamed for most of the game. I think Suh will do more the longer the season will goes on. Reshad Jones proved why he is a top 5 safety in the league with a nice pick 6. Corner back Brent Grimes has been off to a slow start to the season. However, Grimes managed to get an interception which made me feel relieved about him.

Hopefully the Dolphins will continue to play good under the new coach. So far, I am excited to see what the Dolphins are capable of with Dan Campbell at head coach.
