Thursday Night Football: Dolphins VS Patriots (Preidiction)

Finally this game has arrived! My favorite team, the Miami Dolphins, will be playing the undefeated Patriots. This game will be played in Foxboro, home of the New England Patriots. Both of these teams are coming off of huge wins and they are division rivals as well.

For the New England Patriots, they came off of a win against the Jets to stay at the top of the AFC East. It was an impressive victory because the Jets have one of the best defenses in the league. The reason they won was because of how good the patriots offense played in the fourth quarter. The Patriots have the best offense in the league with a genius at head coach. Bill Belichick manages to turn nobodies, into star players. They also have an older quarterback who is playing some of the best football of his long career. Tom Brady is one of the people who have a chance at winning the MVP award. The Patriots also have Rob Gronkowski, the best tight end in the league. The Patriots need to utilize their receiving core who has played surprisingly well this season. The Patriots defense has also been a surprise, especially after the loss of talent from last year. They have a defensive end that is leading the lead in sacks. The Patriots secondary is still questionable though.

As for my Fins, they have played lights out ever since Dan Campbell became the interim head coach. I don't know how he managed to did it, but Campbell has inspired this team to play to the best of their abilities. Last week the Dolphins blew out the Texans in one of the best performances in a single half ever. The Dolphins lead 41-0 at halftime! Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is playing a lot better, as he had a perfect passer rating last week. He was also the AFC Player of the week. Jarvis Landry and Rishard Mathews are sticking out as the best receivers the Dolphins have. They had a combined total of three touchdowns last week. The reason for this success is the Dolphins are establishing a running game, something that they didn't do in the first four weeks under Joe Philbin. The Dolphins offensive line are also starting to step up their game. The Dolphins defense are finally starting to live up to the hype they had gained in the off-season. Cameron Wake is playing like the best pass rusher in the league. In the last two weeks, Wake has managed 6 sacks. Ndamukong Suh is starting to play well also. He had back to back sacks last week. Now that cornerback Brent Grimes is healthy, he is starting to play like a top ten cornerback that he is. Reshad Jones is also proving why he is one of the best safeties in the game, with two pick sixes in the past two weeks. Call me a blinded fan, but I feel like the Dolphins are too motivated for the Patriots to beat them. It will be a close game, but I need to take my Dolphins.

32-28 DOLPHINS!!!!!
