I am just now learning that Andrew Luck may have had hurt ribs the past couple of weeks. This could play a factor in this Monday night game between the undefeated Panthers, and the Indianapolis Colts. One of these teams look great, while the other looks surprisingly like a shell of themselves from last year.
The Carolina Panthers have been looking good on both sides of the ball this season. Cam Newton is starting to make a name for himself as a up and coming quarterback. What surprises me the most about this Panthers offense, is that there are not many good receivers on the team. The Panthers defense is also really good, as i have explained before. It would help the Panthers, if they could manage to get some takeaways from the Colts, since the Colts turn the ball over a lot. I think that in this game, the Panthers will be able to play good on both sides of the ball.
As for the Colts, I don't even know how to explain them. Last year, they looked great. Now, they look mediocre at best. It looks like Andrew Luck will be playing, which means that a lot of people will be analyzing his performance. For Andrew Luck, he really needs to limit his turnovers. Also, nobody else has really been producing on the Colts offense. It must be kind of hard for the Colts, since none of their free agent signings have lived up to the expectations. Their defense has been decent, but nowhere near what it needs to be in order to play good in the playoffs. I think this will be another game where the Colts have a underwhelming performance. I have no idea if the head coach is in jeopardy of losing his job, but if they continue to lose he will be. The Colts were expected by a lot of people to make it to the Super Bowl, and it does not look like it will happen. Maybe the Colts will be able to turn it around, but it does not look like it will happen anytime soon. I definitely don't think it will happen in this game in Carolina.
24-14 Panthers
