Tonight is Thursday Night Football for the NFL. This game that kicks off Week 4 will be between the Steelers and the Ravens in Pittsburgh. Both of these teams have gotten themselves in tricky situations this season. The Ravens will look to break their losing streak since the start of the season, while the Steelers are without their great starting quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger.
Lets start off with the Ravens. The Ravens are a pretty good football team that is unfortunately 0-3. The amazing thing is, is that they could have won any of the games that they lost. Injuries on this team's defense is the huge blow to this team. I feel like if the Ravens lose this game, they will be unable to make the playoffs.
As for the Steelers, I have already discussed the issue at quarterback. Out of the next four games that the Steelers play without Ben Roethlisberger, I think they will lose two. I definitely think the Steelers are going to lose this game though. Even though their defense is starting to look better and their offense is still great, I feel like the Ravens are going to be on a mission to get their first win. I think that the Ravens are too good of a football team to go 0-4.
Final Score Prediction: 34-28 Ravens
Having watched the Steelers-Ravens game I would say that the Steelers (and mainly Michael Vick) looked better than I expected. I agree that the Ravens do not look like a 1-3 team, however I think they need more rushing production to take pressure off Joe Flacco.

ReplyDeleteThe Steelers just blew it. Awful playcalling, like not giving the ball to the top running back in the game, Le'Veon Bell on two straight fourth downs in overtime, and Scobee needs to go, you can't miss two straight field goals in the fourth quarter and expect to win.
