Sunday Night Football: Texans VS Patriots (Prediction)

Sunday Night Football this week may be intriguing based on where these teams stand. The New England Patriots will be going to Houston to take on the Texans. Both of these teams have been impressive overall this season.

The Patriots are coming into this game off of two straight losses. Both of the losses were pretty surprising, especially the loss to the Eagles. The Patriots have been plagued by injuries the whole season, which has led to them not being perfect. The interesting thing about the losses, is that the Patriots came close to pulling both of those games out in the end. There will be one thing different about this game though. Tight end Rob Gronkowski will be playing this week coming off of a leg injury. This will make the offense look a little more like the Patriots offense everybody expects. The Patriots defense is still pretty impressive as well. The Patriots need to make sure that they do not fall apart on special teams like they did last week.

The Texans made a complete turnaround for there season. Ever since they knocked off the Bengals, they have been incredible on defense. Brian Hoyer has made a lot of improvement as a quarterback throughout the past month. The Texans also have one of the best receivers in the league in Deandre Hopkins. The defense for the Texans is where they have been most impressive. One of the big reasons for this, is they have the best defensive player in the league, JJ Watt. Fortunately for the Patriots, JJ Watt broke his hand in practice earlier this week.  He will still play, but I am sure it will affect his play.

With the injury to JJ Watt and the return of Gronkowski, I believe the Patriots will be able to pull out a win in Houston. I believe  the game will be close however.

30-24 Patriots
