This is a Thursday Night Football game that people will actually want to pay attention to. The Arizona Cardinals will be at home to take on the Minnesota Vikings. Both of these teams are very good and will probably be in the playoffs.
The Vikings can be good on both sides of the ball. I'll start out with the Vikings offense. The offense for the Vikings is meant to physically pound the ball down their opponents throats. This is done with the best running back in the NFL, Adrian Peterson. This is why the Viking have the number one rushing attack in the league. The Vikings struggle passing the ball, however. Teddy Bridgewater up to this point in the season has not looked that good. That actually goes for the receivers as well. Luckily for the Vikings, they have one of the best defenses in the NFL. This blends well with the dominant running game. The Vikings seem to be pretty inconsistent at times. In games that should have been close, the Packers and Seahawks both blew out the Vikings. These performances should be of concern in this game against an elite Cardinals team.
The Cardinals are the most balanced team in the NFL. They have very few weaknesses. With Chris Johnson going down, the Cardinals found a new running back that is playing just as good. Carson Palmer is also having a breakout year and is in the running for the MVP title. Not only this, the Cardinals receivers are playing good as well. Larry Fitzgerald is having a comeback year and just last week he reached 1000 receptions. The Cardinals are great on defense as well. Everybody in the Cardinals secondary can play very well. The very few weaknesses for the Cardinals makes me believe that they will be able to handle the visiting Vikings. I think this game will be close throughout.
30-26 Cardinals
