Monday Night Football: Lions VS Saints

This Monday Night Football game could potentially be enjoyable to watch.  The Detroit Lions will be taking on the Saints in the Superdome. Both of these teams have been on a down year compared to previous years. These teams aren't terrible though.

The Lions have been playing slightly better as the year has gone on. Mathew Stafford in my opinion, has the best arm in the NFL. Mix that with some good weapons, and you should have a recipe for success. The offense has been disappointing however. They will definitely need to step up against this horrible Saints defense. The Lions defense will have a tough task against the Saints offense. Lions defense has been OK, but not anything too special. They need to step up and try to stop this high powered  offense.

The Saints have a great offense. They should have a great offense as long as Drew Brees is the quarterback for them. Sadly for this offense, they have a horrible defense. This offense will be able to put of a lot of points. I don't think that the Saints will be able to stop the Lions from putting up points though. I think that this game will potentially be a shootout. If my prediction is correct, then I believe that the Saints will be able to outscore the Lions.

34-30 Saints

Sunday Night Football: Cardinals VS Eagles (Prediction)

This Sunday Night Football game has suddenly become very intriguing. The Arizona Cardinals will be traveling to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. Both of these teams have been very impressive as of late.

The Cardinals are coming off of an impressive win against the Vikings last Thursday night. The Cardinals are impressive on both sides of the ball. Carson Palmer is a candidate in the MVP discussion with the impressive season he has had this year. It also helps that he has a lot of weapons in Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, and John Brown. Many were concerned with the injuries at the running back position. David Johnson has been impressive filling in though. The Cardinals have one of the best secondaries in football. They have top notch safeties and one of the best corner backs in football.

The Eagles have been coming off of a few impressive wins. The most impressive thing I have seen from the Eagles is that quarterback Sam Bradford has been playing great this past month.  The Eagles have played great on special teams as well. I feel like almost every player on the Eagles has stepped up and performed. The Eagles need this game to be able to stay in the race for the NFC East title. Unfortunately, they are playing the second best team in the league. I believe the Cardinals will be just too much for the Eagles.

34-24 Cardinals

Monday Night Football: Dolphins VS Giants (Prediction)

It will be a retro night in Miami as my Dolphins will host the New York Giants in a Monday Night Football game. This will be an interesting game because both of these teams are inconsistent.

The Dolphins are just a weird team to follow. In the Dolphin's first game without offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, the Dolphins won in a low scoring game. Luckily for them, they actually decided to run the football with Lamar Miller. If they decide to give him the ball as much as they did last week, the Dolphins will be able to win this game. Ryan Tannehill will need to step up in order for this team to do anything in the future. He is on a down year and all the fans in Miami hate him. I think that Jarvis Landry will have a good game against a fairly weak secondary. As for the defense, I think that they will be solid. They played great last week, and I think if Reshad Jones continues to play at a probowl level, they will be good on defense.

The Giants have been on a free-fall for the past couple of weeks. They need this game in order for them to win the NFC East. Eli Manning has been declining ever since his great start to the season. If he reduces the turnovers, the Giants offense will be able to play well. It will be interesting to see Odell Beckham Jr. be guarded by Brent Grimes.  The Giants defense is absolutely horrible at the moment. I think this will come back and bite them as they move foward.

With the weak defense and the fact that I somehow still have faith in my favorite team, I will be taking the Dolphins at home in a close victory.

28-21 Dolphins

Sunday Night Football: Texans VS Patriots (Prediction)

Sunday Night Football this week may be intriguing based on where these teams stand. The New England Patriots will be going to Houston to take on the Texans. Both of these teams have been impressive overall this season.

The Patriots are coming into this game off of two straight losses. Both of the losses were pretty surprising, especially the loss to the Eagles. The Patriots have been plagued by injuries the whole season, which has led to them not being perfect. The interesting thing about the losses, is that the Patriots came close to pulling both of those games out in the end. There will be one thing different about this game though. Tight end Rob Gronkowski will be playing this week coming off of a leg injury. This will make the offense look a little more like the Patriots offense everybody expects. The Patriots defense is still pretty impressive as well. The Patriots need to make sure that they do not fall apart on special teams like they did last week.

The Texans made a complete turnaround for there season. Ever since they knocked off the Bengals, they have been incredible on defense. Brian Hoyer has made a lot of improvement as a quarterback throughout the past month. The Texans also have one of the best receivers in the league in Deandre Hopkins. The defense for the Texans is where they have been most impressive. One of the big reasons for this, is they have the best defensive player in the league, JJ Watt. Fortunately for the Patriots, JJ Watt broke his hand in practice earlier this week.  He will still play, but I am sure it will affect his play.

With the injury to JJ Watt and the return of Gronkowski, I believe the Patriots will be able to pull out a win in Houston. I believe  the game will be close however.

30-24 Patriots

Thrusday Night Football: Vikings VS Cardinals (Prediction)

This is a Thursday Night Football game that people will actually want to pay attention to. The Arizona Cardinals will be at home to take on the Minnesota Vikings. Both of these teams are very good and will probably be in the playoffs.

The Vikings can be good on both sides of the ball. I'll start out with the Vikings offense. The offense for the Vikings is meant to physically pound the ball down their opponents throats. This is done with the best running back in the NFL, Adrian Peterson. This is why the Viking have the number one rushing attack in the league. The Vikings struggle passing the ball, however. Teddy Bridgewater up to this point in the season has not looked that good. That actually goes for the receivers as well. Luckily for the Vikings, they have one of the best defenses in the NFL. This blends well with the dominant running game. The Vikings seem to be pretty inconsistent at times. In games that should have been close, the Packers and Seahawks both blew out the Vikings. These performances should be of concern in this game against an elite Cardinals team.

The Cardinals are the most balanced team in the NFL. They have very few weaknesses. With Chris Johnson going down, the Cardinals found a new running back that is playing just as good. Carson Palmer is also having a breakout year and is in the running for the MVP title. Not only this, the Cardinals receivers are playing good as well. Larry Fitzgerald is having a comeback year and just last week  he reached 1000 receptions. The Cardinals are great on defense as well. Everybody in the Cardinals secondary  can play very well. The very few weaknesses for the Cardinals makes me believe that they will be able to handle the visiting Vikings. I think this game will  be close throughout.

30-26 Cardinals

Monday Night Football: Cowboys VS Redskins (Prediction)

The NFC East is seriously the worst division in football. The Washington Redskins will be hosting the Dallas Cowboys in a divisional game. The Redskins are at the top of the division, while the Cowboys are somehow still in the playoff race.

The Redskins have improved so much as the season has gone on. They are coming off of a huge win against the New York Giants.  The offense and defense have both managed to step up over the past couple of weeks. Ever since a comeback win against the Buccaneers, the whole team has been behind quarterback Kirk Cousins and he has not disappointed.

The Cowboys are still in the playoff race even though they are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Tony Romo came back, and then he was injured again. The Dallas defense has been able to play well as of late, but the offense can't catch a break to save their lives. Matt Cassell will be the starting quarterback in this game. Cassell looked pretty well playing in garbage time last week against the Panthers. I cannot pick the Cowboys just because this season they always find ways to lose.

20-10 Redskins

"You Like That?"- Kirk Cousins

Sunday Night Football: Colts VS Steelers (Prediction)

This Sunday Night Football game could potentially be very interesting with the way both of these teams have been playing lately. The Colts will be traveling to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers. The Steelers are coming off of a loss while the Colts have been winning.

The Steelers have one of the most explosive offenses in fotball. They are very entertaining to watch. Ben Roethlisberger is one of the elite quarterbacks in the game and he has been able to utilize his large cache of weapons very well. Many were worried that the loss of their star running back would come back to haunt them. Luckily for the Steelers, Deangelo Williams has filled in very nicely. The problem with the Steelers is their defense is very unreliable. This was proved last week against the Seahawks when Russell Wilson threw for a large amount of touchdowns.

The Colts were looking very bad, then quarterback Andrew Luck was injured. Ever since Matt Hassellback has stepped in, they have been winning games. The reason for this, is Matt Hassellback limits the turnovers. The Colts aren't very balanced overall though. The defense has stepped up as of late. The Colts defense is not anything to special though. This means the Steelers could potentially be scoring a lot of points. I do not believe that the Colts offense will be able to keep up with the power of the Steelers offense.

30-21 Steelers
